Educational Qualification

For Professor:

• Essential Qualification: MBBS degree recognized by NMC (National Medical Commission)
• Post-graduate qualification: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty or DM/MCh in super specialty
• Must have completed basic course in Medical Education Technology from NMC designated institutions
• Basic course in Biomedical Research from NMC designated institutions is mandatory
• Teaching Experience: Minimum 10 years of teaching experience as Professor or Associate Professor/Reader in recognized medical colleges
• Research Publications: Minimum published research papers in indexed journals as per NMC norms

For Associate Professor:

• Essential Qualification: MBBS degree recognized by NMC
• Post-graduate degree: MD/MS/DNB in the relevant specialty
• Basic course in Medical Education Technology completed from NMC designated institutions
• Basic course in Biomedical Research completed
• Teaching Experience: Minimum 4 years as Assistant Professor in a recognized medical college
• Research Publications: At least 2 original research publications as first three authors or corresponding author in indexed journals (Medline, PubMed, Scopus, SCI)

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for both Professor and Associate Professor positions is 67 years as on the date of walk-in interview. Age relaxation may be applicable as per government rules for reserved category candidates.

Salary and Remuneration

Selected candidates will receive attractive consolidated monthly remuneration:

• Professor: ₹2,22,543/- per month (consolidated)
• Associate Professor: ₹1,47,986/- per month (consolidated)

Note: No private practice will be allowed after joining as teaching faculty at ESIC Medical College.
